The reset button works, in that it reboots after squwarking twice. Even if I continue to keep the button pressed, it will start normally, then reboot again. I set my notebook ip to 192.168.1.1 - it asks where 192.168.1.1 is, my notebook responds with its mac address, and nothing for a minute, then it asks again.
I setup the wifi to access my other network and it grabbed a dchp offered address. It responds to pings, it allows login to the web gui, resonds to telnet login, just as on the original network via cable. There is no button available to upgrade firmware, and the advanced networking page isn't there.
I think maybe it phoned home and was told to become a problem!
Need to search for a telnet root password.........
