Sd Card and ftp?

I have the facility to fit an SD card to my Hikvision camera.

What I can't seem to find is any information which confirms one way or another if you can schedule timed snapshots to ftp (which I'm doing at the moment), but also to duplicate those samu files on the SD card.

If anyone can confirm I'd be grateful.

I've not done it, but I'd guess you could.

Add the card and configure in Storage Management:

Then configure the capture schedule and capture parameters:

I found a micro SD card from an old mobile phone (only 4gb). And it does indeed work, I can download from the card through the camera interface. I don't think you can delete the images in camera though, looks like you've either got to re-format or leave to overwrite.

Now I know it works I've Just ordered a bigger capacity card.
