Please recommend me a DVR/NVR that can cope with 6+ coax analogue cameras AND 6+ IP cameras

As title, thanks!

The current (inherited with house purchase) box (DS-7216HGHI-SH) can take 16 analogue cameras but only 2 IP. Want to get more IP cameras but not have to replace the analogue ones just yet. What are my options?

I'm not sure if it matters what the current analogue cameras are? The current interface says they're 1080p. Let me know if I need to give you more details!

Don't buy a hybrid DVR/NVR.
Keep that system.
Start a new IP system with a new NVR.
Hybrids are complex and expensive and come with limitations in respect of either the number of IP cameras that you can add or the max resolution of the cameras that you can add.
NVR and DVR will both be accessible on your network and from Hik-Connect.

Fair point - I'll do that then One caveat though; I like being able to view all my camera thumbnails in one go, will HikConnect allow me to do that across two different devices?

IDK - I never add more than one NVR to my phone/App (there must be about eight in our demo system!).
