hikvision ds-7616ni-m2/16p hard drive recommendations?

Hi I need a hard drive for hikvision ds-7616ni-m2/16p, what would you recommend that is compatible I need something 14tb or more, not sure what is the max capacity that is supported by the NVR

If you are looking for 14TB from a single HDD then we would recommend the 14TB Western Digital Purple Pro Surveillance Hard Drive or if it is a total of 14TB you are after you can look at 2 x 8TB HDDs from either Western Digital, Seagate, or Toshiba.

Hi thanks for reply I am wondering if the following hdd would be good or should I stick to WD Purple. Also I'm looking to buy 1 now and one later

Yes, the Seagate 16TB HDD will be fine to use with this NVR.

As it states on our product page for the DS-7616NI-M2/16P the only HDD sizes that are not supported are those larger than 18TB.
