I have purchased an intercom ds-kd8003 , when i press the doorbell on it, and someone picksup with the android, i always hear myself talking on the ds-kd8003 , its an echo

i think the issue comes from HikConnect, when you answer the call, its always on speaker mode, so the microphone on android is pickun the sound from the speaker and is going back to the 8003 , so thats why i hear myself talking

isnt this a bug? how can we disable the speakerphone mode on the HikConnect app?

you need to ensure the Noise Filter is enabled in the Door Station Settings

95% sure its in the settings of Hik-Connect ............. Labelled something like "Environment Noise Filter"
 
hmm, cant find it, not in the general settings, or if i click on the indoor panel on HikCOnnect, and then settings afterwards :(
 
but even if i could find it, i dont think that level filte will resolve the issue
HikConnect shouldnt use speaker mode at all, it needs to be turned off completely :)
 
I believe thats what the Noise Filter Setting does, enables the self-cancelling/feed back from happening.
Is there a Remote Config in the device settings on Hik-Connect? long shot though .....chances are DNS will need setting up any way.
Have you Accessed the Device Settings through iVMS4200?

FYI - iVMS4200 is the Main Configuration Platform for the Hikvision Access Control Range, it does state this in documentation provided with hardware. Often, webclient GUI & App Settings have limitations & additional settings are found using iVMS4200 by accessing the Device > Remote Configuration.

Also, ensure the Door Station, Room Station Firmware & Hik-Connect are the Latest Versions.
 
yes, accessed device settings with ivms, but no noise options in the audio tab present, for indoor or outdoor
all latest updates firmare present
 
Are you still within the warranty period? ............ I suggest you contact Hikvision Tech Support

i dont use hikconnect anymore , hate it actually :-)
trying to setup a PBX now

Oh sorry, did not see that this is related to HikConnect.
I'm using SIP protocol with freepbx and when you are speaking at the door you basically hear your own echo. KD8003 and LinPhone clients are not close so I guess this cannot be an analogue feedback problem.
 
ah, yeat-h, atm testing FreePBX too, it worked, but i dont see early video on my linphone, do you?
i want to see who is calling before i pickup
