DS-2CD2386G2-ISU-SL - space for connectors?

I was wondering if anyone knew if there is still space in the newer design of body that is used by the acusense ISU-SL model IP cameras for the waterproof ethernet connector, without having to use a back box?

I know with the 'traditional' hikvision "pig-nose" cameras there was plenty of space for the waterproof connector but after seeing the back of the DS-2CD2386G2-ISU-SL in a video, I'm wondering if it will be necessary to use a back box in order to fit the waterproof connector in.

Hi @Jami3

There is not enough space in the new design turrets for the connectors to be stored and so if the connections are going to be outside the property you will need to use a junction box. The 2386G2-ISU/SL uses the DS-1280ZJ-DM21 Junction Box
