Just a little more info for you, I downloaded the IVMS-4500 app for iPhone to see if that had any difference. When hik-connect wouldn’t playback daytime footage, the IVMS-4500 would! So not sure if IVMS-4500 requests/receives a lower quality image. I could only get the IVMS-4500 app to work...
