Yes VCA is more accurate but if you do a mix of motion and VCA you will be able to cover areas that you cannot cover with VCA if your camera does not have enough VCA channels for the scene you are covering. E.G. On one of my cams I have line crossing in front of my door, an intrusion zone...

At some point, with the camera tech increasing the I nvr will be struggling so for me it's wait and see what happens in the next 12 months. If it doesn't then maybe other manufacturers, though more expensive £ to £ might be the way to go.

Hello Dan I like the day / night scheduling option for the differenct settings, problem is its time related so over a period of time, the settings become out of date when it gets darker earlier and vise versa. Is there an option that switches the settings by detecting a light level. Thanks
