NVR NTP settings for poe attached cams

Hi @Kyle, no problem. I'll set the NTP server settings to pool.ntp.org with 1440 interval so see what is does. I also will de-select DST at the NVR. changing the time setting brings up something strange. time is 16:18 dutch time, with gmt +1 and summertime Change systemtime to 16:18 will...

NVR NTP settings for poe attached cams

@Kyle have set it back to ntp time on nvr, as the 1hr difference couldn’t Be solved. To my understanding setting ntp in network on the nvr with 60 min interval check seems not to work. Last night due to set back a half hour time difference pops up, despite ntp that didn’t correct it. I had to...

NVR NTP settings for poe attached cams

The time so far stays in line, but…… the notifications mention -1 hr, for example in notification there is a screenshot of the event which also reflects the cam time, 02.09.45 and notification mentions 01.09.45. I’ll guess that comes from the setting on the nvr to sync with platform.

NVR NTP settings for poe attached cams

Hi @Kyle, thanks for confirming, so i don't have to look further into settings. I tried to the synchronize, i had NTP active, but choose to try out the platform time synchronize, to see what the effect would be on time synchronization. So this could also be something that could help, I'll report...

NVR NTP settings for poe attached cams

@Phil @Kyle thanks for your reply and it seems to me now more clear that NTP will not work via the NVR. I'll look it up to see if i can adjust the settings on the nvr with the already added cams or add them again with the check box selected and within the cams I'll select the manual time sync.

NVR NTP settings for poe attached cams

I've the same experience, for some reason adding settings to the networkpart of the camera seems not to be saved after reboot. @codlord @johnfitzy In my case the NVR has ip 192.168.2.125 and i can access the cams via 192.168.2.125:65001 etc. But for unknown reasons i can't get the NTP time from...

NVR NTP settings for poe attached cams

Trying to setup remote viewing on a DS-7604NI-K1 / 4P(B)

I didn't set that up, as hikconnect could connect to my nvr directly, so in my case no special things are forwarded. but that can off course be different in your situation or isp requirements. I guess you experience it right away if you install hikconnect on your mobile and try to access your...
