@David your exposure 1/100 with ColorVu. Are you getting pixelation/blurring of people walking and are you using the white supplemental lighting? I ask as having put 2x 2047G2 up over weekend, then exposure of 1/50-1/200 all show pixelation or blurring of even people walking at night at 10+mtrs...

@DrPhilG what did you plump for? for similar reasons to you (no ambient light, wife, etc) I’m tending toward G2 Acusense 8mp turret and mini bullet as swaps for 2146g1, 2163g0 and couple of 2132’s. have watched very good diatech videos which is pushing me toward above not colorvu.

I used a u-bolt. Drilled thru mounting box to accept legs from u-bolt, then cut them back a little to just a little more than size of nut. I sealed all holes at rear of box. Pole I have is 40mm dia. I found the HIK pole mount too cumbersome/heavy for my use. I have 2146 HIK mounted this way...

Thanks Dave. Certainly exposure has made the largest difference to visibility at night. Now to strike the balance between identifying vehicles (non-ANPR) and seeing a blur ;-). Appreciate your steer/tips, thank you.

@Phil i attached pics of image from camera and its current settings. There are three IR's visible from on the camera. Having dome off seems to make little difference. The pics are Stream1 taken on PC via browser to NVR. I've included config as well.

Thanks @Phil have changed exposure to 1/200 not 1/500 its better (played with WDR, BLC, HLC but without material change). IR's on the camera i can 'see' 3x lit red. I'll check again this evening and also follow your other suggestions (dome was cleaned in + out before the above images taken)...

It's set at 1/500 as are other cameras. I've changed this 2163G0 to 1/200 and will see impact of this tonight. Appreciate any other points i should look at e.g. HLC, BLC, etc. Thanks.
