I never had that red line shown in IE (I use NAS instead of NVR). Very annoying as this is one of the most useful features to quickly review events ignoring all other times when nothing happened.

Yes, I saw it too. Went to Play Store and it shows that my app is already on latest version 3.11.1.1023. There isn't anything newer (only apps on v4 are iVMS-4500 and iVMS-4500HD). Maybe the update was not released in all markets??

If it's G1 cameras then I believe this is in picture settings. You can disable automatic day/night switch and stay in day more continuously.

@tellsch, How did you manage to downgrade firmware? I thought there is no option to downgrade anymore if you are 5.6.x (up to 5.5.83 downgrading worked). What cameras do you have?

Good question @Munzz. I was always wondering if changing exposure settings in Manual Day/Night switch will also use those settings in Automatic switch. But from Dan's response i take it as no.

Do you use NVR? I think notifications would be processed via NVR in that case which would be different than camera firmware.

@StewartM, @Dan, @Phil I did manage to resolve the issue but I think it's a bug in recent firmware. Would be good if somebody tested the same and if this could be reported to Hikvision. In short: Notifications via HikConnect work when you enable Email notifications. Without e-mail, notifications...

Dan, I've noticed Hikvision stopped mentioning DS-2CD2455FWD-IW (and other Cube cameras) in their G1 firmware release notes some time ago. I have one of these and you still sell them. Firmware updates ok on those cube cameras as they are part of G1 family. Maybe you could let Hikvision know...

Hello Phil, I can confirm that saving files to NAS works perfectly on all cameras I have (easyIP 3) up to firmware 5.5.80. From 5.5.82 to 5.5.83 it is broken (only first disk and first folder is used and files being constantly overwritten). I haven't tested this on 5.6.0 yet as I heard there...
