The card that comes in the box is a programming card only, it cannot and will not open the intercom lock. You need to programme black cards with this master card as the instructions, or the web page, or IVMS. There’s a number of post already on here if you search.

In the app under calls you get a photo of who’s been, if you want to play it back you have to watch it back like you would a camera, it does not save a clip in the app like a camera does or a “Ring” style piece of sh:t

As chrizzo states if you want video playback you need this connected to an NVR, search my 6113 posts I’ve wrote extensively about this. It’s not an firmware issue that will be resolved, it’s how hikvision have designed them unfortunately despite camera’s being able to do what you want

At the plug on the back of the external unit (the 6113) connect you original L&L wires one to the green and one to the blue, it doesn’t matter which way around.

Which outdoor unit do you have and it it push to make or break on you existing setup?

I think you have to wire them to the outdoor unit, I had to and always do on installs

Yes having the same issue, takes a few months for them to catch up with software updates

The version B so presumably B software (cant believe its working on yours) works differently, you need to loop out the door contacts so it thinks the door is closed, then the green light will go off, where as on the non B you do not have to do this.

Statment a bit confusing they cannot be connected together they need to go a router to give them an IP address this can be Poe or non Poe (use the power adapter that comes in the box for non Poe), or WiFi and then connect merely a power adapter (that’s supplied in the box with the 603 kit)...

i had that also with older versions of 4200 the version i am currently using is V3.5.0.5 20210208.

Not sure if you’ve reading the post you’ve referenced fully, or I’m not getting it. The master card cannot be used as a card only ever as a programming card to program other new cards to the system.

I've done some testing on a 7616 NI-I2, with a DS2CD4A26FWD-IZS/P everything works as normal you can store/retrieve ANPR info and change settings, with a DS-2CD7A26G0/P (its replacement) that's not overly compatible with NVRs which seams bizarre, you get no functionality at all either web based...

In 4200 add a person, then add card option in that add person menu, you can then select the outdoor station card reader itself under option, then click read, present the card on the outdoor station and you’ll see the card number, you can then add it to the station. on the intercom you can also...

There is no way to record video clips onto the device itself with or without an indoor station. At best and I think you need the indoor station just to get a photo when someone calls. If you want video you need to do that through your NVR but it doesn’t auto send you the clip of someone visiting...
