Hi @stanceworks54 - just to confirm, are you seeing what you describe below at night, while your camera is in black and white mode? Also, is this bright light constantly shining from your neighbour's camera?
Hi @broxsb
As you are using the Acusense technology that's in the NVR (rather than in Acusense cameras), there is actually a limit on the cameras you can apply Human/Vehicle detection on Intrusion Detection to, as shown here (1x camera set to 4MP, or 2x cameras set to 2MP, like yours are)...
I think, if you look at this page of the manual, you need to click "Stop" in the "Action" settings:
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/970735/Messoa-Spd970.html?page=53#manual
Maybe untick all of the boxes on the "Auto Patrol" settings too.
Hi @ahmedabdulla - what is the brand and model number of the camera, as these settings will vary with each camera?
The PTZs we've supplied normally stay in a fixed position as default until you manually move them.
To move automatically between presets, the camera will probably have needed...
Thanks again for your testing @alfaclvi, I'll pass these on to UK Support.
As I've just mentioned in the other 'iVMS VCA Search' thread, if you report it to the Support team in your area too, this should help to get them raised and addressed.
Thanks both, are you still seeing these problems on the new V4.82.100 build 240606 firmware for the NXI-K NVRs?
If you're able to get a video or screenshots showing these problems, I can pass them on to UK Support.
But, they have recommended reporting these problems to your local support...
Hi @Steve24 - if you just need to see the camera's live feed, recordings, and alerts, then if you connect the solar camera to Hik-Connect, you can then log in to your Hik-Connect account in iVMS-4200.
This will let you do the above remotely without the need for port mapping - see this post for...
Thanks @alfaclvi, that makes sense about the new WebPlugin fixing it!
We haven't noticed any glaring issues either, but I'm also seeing black as the only option for the privacy mask colours...
This camera seemed OK in Chrome on Dan's Mac, so hopefully we'll see some improvements on the NVRs too...
TBH, live viewing via virtual host barely works on Windows either (definitely not for plug & play cameras anyway).
OK, in the web browser view, make sure the Menu Output settings match those of the monitor you have connected - System>System Settings>Menu Output.
If you have connected the monitor using an HDMI cable, select this from the Menu Output dropdown.
After a factory reset, things seem OK on our camera.
Initially, none of us could consistently get live view from the camera in-browser, we were getting a "the number of the preview requests exceeds the limit" error.
But, hard-resetting and changing the IP seems to have solved (it may have been...
Yes, S.M.A.R.T. and Bad Sector Detection are the tests to run.
What is the blank screen page please, can you send a photo?
I wouldn't recommend disconnecting the drive until you have run the tests.
You should also be able to see the hard drive status in the web browser on the HDD management...
Human & Vehicle search isn't supported by the web browser interface, so you'll need to add the camera to iVMS-4200 and you can then use the Event Playback option for searching for specific events, explained here...
Could you post this question in the ongoing forum thread please, and I'll respond there, as it will be more helpful to other forum users this way? :)

You can log in to the DVR on your laptop via the IP address (see the second part of my post above - sorry I may have added that bit after you saw my reply).
Then, you can check the HDD status in Storage>Storage Management>HDD Management, and run the tests in Storage>Storage Management>HDD Detection.
Thanks - yes, there's a good chance the drive has failed.
Can you send a screenshot of the Storage Device page please (in the left-hand pane of your screenshots), as this should indicate if there's a problem with the drive?
You can't login on a laptop via HDMI cable, but if you enter the DVR's...
OK, this is a good sign. Are their statuses showing as 'online'?
If so, ignore the link in the 'IP/Port No.' column in the Hik-Connect web portal, as you don't need to use this for remote access.
You now just need to use the Hik-Connect account you have created to log in to the app on a phone...
