There is a sub menu (linkage action) was set to normal linkage I changed it to channel record. It worked if anyone has any issues I will post all my settings it may help as this dvr is not the best' over complicated imho. Once again thanks Dan.

It's a generic brand by the looks of it any company name can be added.

Brand OEM Model XVR_3520DV400 Camera just the one sannce 1080p. Still looking for 2 cams if you can recommend them.

Hi I have just bought a dvr well its an xvr 5.0. I had a sannce where I could just go to motion detection marks on the playback but this one is a solid green line no markers. I have updated the firmware and still no joy. Any help would be extremely appreciated
