Thanks for the reply I left it all on the same in the end and just monitor the subnet traffic. Most of the time there is about 40-50% load on the subnet across about 40 reserved IPs from tablets, home automation, media devices etc I suppose the main query was if the subnet got overly busy...

Thanks - that is what I ended up doing yesterday and it seems to be running perfectly. It didn't make sense port forwarding 8 cameras, setting up motion per camera, having users setup per camera etc etc Thanks again for your reply

Hi all, Second question of the day is where do you/should you set up all the settings for the NVR and cameras given the portals are now so similar. By settings I mean things like notifications, events, dyndns type settings etc etc From what I can tell, I can log into the cameras individually...
